I’m currently recovering from surgery on my spine and traveling to appointments is a nightmare. Even short car rides cause pain. I’ve heard that some physio services can come to you under NDIS if you’re registered. But does it really work? I mean, do they bring proper equipment, and is it still as effective when done in a home setting? I don’t want to fall behind in recovery just because I can’t move around much.

In my experience, home physio post-surgery gives you more control and less pressure. Clinics can feel rushed. When my sister had spinal surgery, the mobile physio gave her time, full attention, and adjusted the plan as her needs evolved. You don’t get that kind of flexibility in traditional setups. If recovery matters, having a therapist come to you is worth every bit.
